In this article, I'll explain why I think this is one of the smartest improvements in our industry.

Sensor 4S vs Sensor 4S Pro

The new bar is available in two versions:

  • Sensor 4S

  • Sensor 4S Pro

The biggest difference between both models remains the lines.

The Sensor 4S Pro comes with CORE's titanium lines. These grey lines are significantly stiffer and stronger than standard flying lines, resulting in a more direct steering feel and excellent durability.

If your budget allows it, I would personally always recommend the Pro version. The improved lines make a noticeable difference, especially if you ride frequently.

The Biggest Innovation

While both bars receive several smaller updates, one feature completely steals the show.

The new integrated steering line trim system, hidden inside the bar floaters, allows you to adjust your steering lines directly on the water.

As far as I know, this is the first kite bar on the market that offers a solution like this.

Why Steering Line Trimming Matters

Every kite line stretches over time.

I recommend checking and trimming your lines approximately every 10 hours of riding.

Doing so keeps your kite flying symmetrically and helps prevent unnecessary stretching of the bridles, which can eventually affect the kite's performance.

It's a small maintenance task that makes a surprisingly big difference.

It's simple, intuitive and solves a problem that every kitesurfer experiences sooner or later.
